Bookings at PizzaExpress

We offer a range of booking options across our restaurants, whether you’re planning a small gathering or a larger group event. This guide outlines how bookings work, including group bookings, pre-orders, and payment options.


✅ Making a Booking

Small bookings (under 7 guests)

  • Guests can book directly via our website or by contacting the restaurant.
  • Payment is made in the restaurant on the day of the visit.

Large group bookings (7+ guests)

  • For groups of 7 or more guests, additional requirements apply to ensure a smooth experience. 

🍽️ Pre-orders for Group Bookings

  • A pre-order is required for all bookings of 7 or more guests
  • This helps the restaurant prepare for your visit and ensure timely service.
  • Pre-orders and final guest numbers must typically be provided at least 7 working days before the booking date

💳 Payment Options

Pay on the day

  • Available for most standard bookings.
  • Payment is made directly in the restaurant after your visit.

Pay via invoice (Corporate Bookings)

  • Available for larger group bookings where payment is arranged in advance.
  • These are known as corporate bookings and are handled by our dedicated bookings team. 
  • Payment is made after the visit via invoice (subject to approval and terms). 

Important:

  • We are unable to process invoice bookings if the visit date is within 7 days, except in specific cases.

📅 Booking Confirmation

  • Once availability is confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your details. 

🔄 Amendments & Cancellations

  • Changes to guest numbers or booking details should be made as early as possible.
  • Final guest numbers are typically required at least 7 days before the booking
  • For corporate bookings:
    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking may still be charged. 

🥗 Dietary Requirements

  • Any dietary requirements should be shared at the time of booking.
  • These should also be clearly included in the pre-order for group bookings. 
  • We will always do our best to accommodate requirements where possible.

🎉 Special Booking Types

Pizza Making Parties

  • Available in selected restaurants and subject to availability.
  • May require deposits or specific payment arrangements. 

School Visits

  • Booked via a dedicated process and typically paid via invoice after the visit. 

❗ Important Notes

  • Bookings are subject to availability and may be declined if the restaurant is at capacity.
  • Some locations (e.g. airport restaurants) may not accept bookings. 
  • Set menus and corporate booking options cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions 
  • If you are running late we will hold all tables for 15 mins from the time they are booked. If you think you will be more than 15 mins late for your booking please call the team at the pizzeria to let them know.
