Allergen & Nutritional Information
For allergen, nutritional, and full ingredient information, please visit our official page: https://www.pizzaexpress.com/allergens-and-nutritionals.
You’ll find three resources there:
- Our allergen guide, shows which of the 14 main allergens are present in each dish.
- Our full ingredients list – complete recipe detail for anyone avoiding ingredients beyond the 14, or with more complex dietary needs.
- Nutritional information for every dish.
A ‘*’ in the allergen guide means the ingredient is produced in a factory where that allergen is present and we believe there is a significant risk of cross-contamination – sometimes called a ‘may contain’ warning. Please treat this with the same care as a confirmed allergen. Because our dishes are prepared in kitchens where multiple allergens are in use, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens. Recipes do change, so please check each time you visit. Regional variations may apply.
Gluten-free
We offer a range of gluten-free dishes, marked ‘GF’ on our menus. Our gluten-free processes are accredited by Coeliac UK. To help reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we only use gluten-free rice flour in our kitchens, and gluten-free pizzas are always served with a purple pizza slicer so they’re easy to identify.
Gluten-free means the dish contains no more than 20 parts per million (20ppm) of gluten, in line with UK food standards. Even so, our dishes are prepared in kitchens where gluten-containing ingredients are in use throughout the day, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from gluten.
If you’re ordering for delivery, our Coeliac UK accreditation does not apply to delivery orders, as food is handled by a third party once it leaves us. If you need to manage gluten carefully, we’d recommend dining in or ordering Click & Collect.
Other useful information
Nuts: We do not use nut ingredients in our dishes. Where a risk of cross-contamination with nuts is identified in our ingredients, this is declared as ‘May Contain’ on our allergen information. Despite the measures we take, we cannot offer a 100% guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
