Paying with the PizzaExpress App (Club Payments)

Enjoy a quick and easy way to pay your bill directly through the PizzaExpress app. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works.


Payment Methods

When paying via the app, you can use the following payment methods:

  • Apple Pay
  • PayPal
  • Debit and credit cards (including Mastercard and Visa)

At present, Tesco vouchers and gift cards cannot be used for payments made through the app.


Splitting the Bill

You can easily split your bill within the app in a way that suits your group:

  • Split equally between everyone checked in
  • Split by item so each person pays for what they ordered

Each guest who is checked in can apply their own rewards, provided:

  • The correct qualifying items have been ordered
  • The bill remains at £15.00 or more per person checked in after rewards are applied

Once the bill has been split, you have flexibility in how you settle it:

  • Everyone can pay individually through the app
  • You can pay via your waiter
  • Or use a combination of both

How to Pay in the App

Once you’re checked in:

  1. Tap “See bill”
  2. Select and apply any rewards you’d like to use
  3. Proceed to checkout
  4. Choose to pay in full or split the bill

Follow the on-screen steps to complete your payment.


Saving Card Details

Yes, you can save your card details securely in the app.

  • UK debit and credit cards can be stored for future use
  • PizzaExpress is fully PCI compliant, meaning your payment details are handled securely

Receipts and Payment Confirmation

Once your payment is complete:

  • A copy of your final bill will be sent to the email address linked to your loyalty account
  • You’ll also see a confirmation screen within the app, confirming that your payment has been successful
